Triton Central High School - Inspire
Inspire, a new Triton Central High School staff initiative, is focused on teamwork and camaraderie. The intent is to celebrate their 50-person team and build a culture of mutual support. Kindness Delivered and the Fountain Church have been invited to help sponsor this event by providing coffee and donuts during four staff gatherings (two in April, two in May). Further, every staff member will receive a custom t-shirt highlighting the principle found in Matthew 5:16 to celebrate their shared mission. Also, to foster a kind environment, each colleague will pick a task from their Kindness Jar and then share their story to help highlight the good work happening within their halls. Each week, they will share these moments of kindness via email to head into the weekend inspired. To say thank you for participating, "kindness doers" and “receivers” will be entered into separate raffles for a $50 Amazon gift card. The more they participate, the more chances they’ll have to win!
Triton Central Middle School - Kindness Experiment
We are so excited to partner with Triton Central Middle School again for their special two-week "Kindness Experiment" starting in April! This project brings together students and staff to spread positivity within the school and community. From April 13th to April 24th, four classes of 5th graders will participate in this unique curriculum focused on the impact of small acts of kindness. Then on May 19th, the students will head to Blue River Memorial Park to "plant" their hand-painted kindness rocks for the community to find and enjoy. This initiative involves 98 fifth graders and several staff members, all working together to make their school and community a little brighter. A special thanks to April Allen and the team at Triton Central for leading the way!
Brandywine Elementary School - Staff Appreciation
There’s a special kind of energy at Brandywine Elementary School and we are so grateful for the opportunity to support the educators and staff who make it such a wonderful place to learn. It is a privilege to witness the dedication this team brings to their students every single day. To honor their hard work and spirit, Kindness Delivered will proudly provide a lunch and small gift for each of their staff members. We are honored to play a small role in the incredible culture of kindness that defines Brandywine Elementary. Thank you to the entire staff for the heart and energy you pour into the children!
Pleasant Run Elementary School - Staff Appreciation
It is a true privilege to witness firsthand the dedication that defines Pleasant Run Elementary School. Yvette Glenn, Resource Office, brings energy and commitment to supporting the staff and we’re thrilled to partner with her. To show our appreciation for this amazing team, Kindness Delivered was proud to provide a lunch and small gift for each staff member to help them feel the love. We are grateful to play a small part in the culture of kindness that Yvette and the entire Pleasant Run staff cultivate. Thank you for letting us serve those who serve our children so well!
Diversity Church Share Pantry
This event is generosity in action! We’re thrilled to be part of Diversity Church’s annual fair. With free clothing, haircuts, and delicious grilled food, this event is all about neighbors helping neighbors. Kindness Delivered will be on-site to keep the good vibes going and provide even more kindness to the festivities!
St. Paul's Lutheran Church Block Party
St. Paul Lutheran Church's annual block party is always a fantastic time. Their event brings together dozens of people from the community for an afternoon of fun and connection. Guests beat the summer heat with a foam party, games, ice cream and music. The fire department's visit gives the kids a way to cool off with a spray from their hoses. Kindness Delivered is happy to sponsor this wonderful event and help bring smiles to so many faces.
IMPD East Community Day
What an incredible day of connection that IMPD East District hosts each year! Their annual Community Day is a celebration that brings together hundreds of neighbors for an afternoon of fun, food, and friendship. Kindness Delivered is honored to partner with Indy’s finest by sponsoring the event with food for the community. With music, food, bounce-houses and all of IMPD’s speciality units including K9, SWAT, and Mounted Patrol teams, there is something for everyone. Events of this scale don’t just happen, they are built on dedication. We want to extend a special thanks to Officers Stacy and Roman for inviting us to be a part of their event. Their tireless commitment to the East District is the reason this community continues to grow stronger and more connected.
Music on Depot
Kindness Delivered is ready for another unforgettable evening with the New Palestine Main Street summer concert series! On July 25th, we are sponsoring the talented Stella Luna band who will be taking the stage to entertain the community. We can’t wait to see hundreds of neighbors gather once again for a night of live music and community spirit. To make the evening even sweeter, Kindness Delivered is honored to return as a supporter and to provide free ice cream for all of the concert-goers. This is a perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy the music, and connect with friends and family. We are grateful to New Palestine Main Street for the opportunity to share a little extra kindness and joy with our community. Grab your lawn chairs and your appetite for fun, we’ll see you there!
Pleasant Run United Church of Christ (PRUCC)
We are grateful for the opportunity to support the wonderful church family at Pleasant Run United Church of Christ. Kindness Delivered will sponsor a special catered lunch for this small but mighty congregation as they kick off their fall and winter activities. Pleasant Run UCC is a beautiful example of a faithful church family whose love for one another is evident in everything they do. This luncheon is a chance to celebrate connection and to gather around a table as they prepare for a busy season of ministry. We are inspired by the heart of this congregation and are excited to play a small part in helping them launch a fruitful new season!
Bee the Light 5K
Join us for the 5th annual Bee the Light 5K, a race honoring Shelby Kraft, daughter of Kindness Delivered's co-founder, Deb Kraft. Shelby passed away from Rett Syndrome, a rare and incurable neurological disorder. Every registration fee goes directly to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation to fund critical research, with all donations matched by Deb. By participating, you help us keep Shelby’s memory alive and support others with this disease. Fountain Fall Festival
The Fountain Church loves to serve its neighboring communities and share the love of Jesus. Their annual Fall Festival is a perfect example, bringing together hundreds of people for a day of fun for all ages. Kindness Delivered is honored to be a part of this amazing event by sponsoring a catered meal from a delicious local restaurant. It is a joy to see so many people come together, fostering a true sense of community and connection. Come and enjoy tons of games and activities for all ages. All are welcome!
Hornet Park Elementary
We had a very special visit with some very special students at Hornet Park Elementary School, in their essential skills classes. We had fun bringing music and hitting the dance floor with the students for a fun, sensory-friendly movement session. Our mascot, Tenderheart was also a big hit, sharing high-fives and posing for photo’s with the kids. To support these incredible teachers and their students, we donated essential classroom supplies and provided small handpicked sensory gifts for each of the 20 children to take home. We are so grateful to these incredible teachers, Brooke and Mitchell, for inviting us into their space. It was a rewarding morning filled with music, smiles, and meaningful connection!
New Palestine Elementary School Breakfast Club
We had a wonderful morning bringing joy and donuts to 55 amazing kids! Our visit centered on “Kindness, Jesus Style” featuring our mascot, Tenderheart, for smiles and photos. We shared the story of Zaccaeus (Luke 19), teaching the kids that while the world often points at a person's "mess," Jesus looks at the heart. Just as Jesus’ kindness changed Zacchaeus’ life, we encouraged the kids to look past the surface and lead with love. To put this into practice, each student received two Tootsie Pops at dismissal, one to keep and one to give away as an intentional act of kindness. It was a sweet, fulfilling morning watching these precious kids learn how their kindness can change the world!
Small Smiles
The Small Smiles Club at Mt. Vernon High School was founded during the 2020 pandemic with one goal: to spread joy through simple acts of kindness. The club continues to brighten the school day for students and staff. As club sponsor Karen Riesterer explains, "It gives students an opportunity to be creative and know that others are rooting for them." Kindness Delivered is proud to sponsor this kindness club by providing supplies they need throughout each semester.
